Vitro Glass names Diep architectural manager for West Coast

Vitro Architectural Glass announced that Tan Diep has accepted a position as West Coast Architectural Manager.

Diep will work with architects in a five-state territory (California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Hawaii) to help them manage the glass selection process, from initial building design and specification through production scheduling, fabrication and final installation.

“We are excited to have such a talented and hard-working individual as Tan join our team,” said Glenn T. Miner, director of construction, Vitro Architectural Glass. “Tan’s knowledge of the marketplace and experience working with the architectural community uniquely position him to provide a substantial positive impact as Vitro Glass continues to support glass technology for the built environment.”

Diep previously worked for five years as an architectural manager for PPG’s architectural coatings business. In this role, he wrote product specifications for construction documents in compliance with Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) requirements and worked closely with the sales and marketing teams to strengthen the company’s market presence in Southern California.

In addition to his experience at PPG, Diep most recently was strategic account manager for Sloan Valve Company, and held specification leadership positions at Legrand North America and Akzo Nobel.

Diep is a certified LEED® Accredited Professional (AP) with expertise in green building practices, and a certified construction product representative of the CSI.

Diep holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science with a minor in criminal justice from California State University, Fullerton.
