New Vitro products added to this catalog include VacuMax^™ Vacuum Insulating Glass (VIG) and Solarvolt^™ Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) Glass System, winners of numerous awards for innovative technology and energy and environmental benefits.

VacuMax^™ VIG provides thermal insulation performance two to four times better than conventional insulating glass units and up to 14 times better than monolithic glass. Delivering center of glass (COG) R-values of R14+, VacuMax^™ VIG units rival the thermal performance of traditional walls, providing energy savings and reducing carbon emissions through lower Btu usage.

Solarvolt^™ BIPV glass systems double as a building component to enhance sustainability and energy efficiency in commercial buildings, delivering high performance, aesthetics and CO₂-free power generation while replacing conventional building materials.
