Trademark Usage Guidelines


If you are marketing/using a Vitro Architectural Glass product and need files for print or online use for one or more of our logos, please review the legal restrictions, permissions and proper attribution rules associated with using Vitro intellectual property, which follow:
 
Permissions
Vitro grants you limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use the trademarks and logo in promotional materials created exclusively by or for your company. Use of these trademarks and logos is permitted only with Vitro‘s sole discretion and consent.
 
By requesting our logo files, you acknowledge and agree that the trademark(s) are intellectual property owned exclusively by Vitro.
 
Restrictions
The use of Vitro trademarks is restricted to authorized Vitro goods and services only. Material modification to any promotional materials referencing one or more of these trademarks may require prior written approval from Vitro. You may not, in any circumstance, use as part of your domain name, or other source indicator— such as your company name, trade name or social media site identifier— the listed trademarks, the letters “Vitro,” or any other trademark owned by Vitro.
 
The following registered trademarks and trademarks are owned by Vitro, S.A.B. de C.V. and its related entities, including Vitro Architectural Glass:

General Rules:
Vitro Architectural Glass trademarks:

  • May only be used only with permission;
  • May not be used in or as the name of your company, products or services, nor as part of your domain name;
  • May not be used in false or misleading advertising as defined by applicable law, municipal ordinance or the administrative agency regulations of any country;
  • May not be used in any objectionable material considered by the company to be defamatory, scandalous, pornographic or otherwise detrimental to the image of the company;
  • May not be used to disparage Vitro Architectural Glass and its products, people or services; or in any way to diminish or damage the reputation or goodwill of the company and/or its trademarks.

 
Logos trademarked by Vitro and its related entities may be reproduced only using logo files provided by Vitro and/or its related entities.
 
Trademark Attribution Statements
Vitro Architectural Glass trademarks used in collateral, advertising, packaging, web pages, manuals, data sheets, etc., must be accompanied by the proper trademark attribution statement at the end of the document in a footer or in a visible, discreet location on packaging. 
 
The following attribution statement lists all Vitro Architectural Glass trademarks. When publishing this statement, do not list all Vitro Glass trademarks. Please limit the statement to include only the applicable trademark or trademarks listed or featured included in your document, marketing materials and/or packaging:

Vitro Certified Network Trademark Attribution Statement
The Vitro CertifiedTM Network is an initiative of Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG glass) that comprises members and programs of the former PPG Certified Fabricator® Network. The Vitro Certified Network and the Vitro Certified Network logo are trademarks owned by Vitro and its related entities.
 
The PPG logo is a registered trademark of PPG Industries Ohio, Inc.
 
Logo Usage
For guidance on proper usage of Vitro Architectural Glass product logos, please click the links below to access the individual Logo and Trademark Usage guides for each logo’d product:  Solarban/SungateStarphireIntercept and Vitro Certified.
 
If you need to obtain electronic logo files and agree to adhere to the legal restriction and logo usage guidelines provided above, you can click here to complete the “Logo Permission and File Request” Form. By clicking on this request form, you acknowledge that you have read and will follow the logo guidelines detailed above.
 
Nothing contained herein shall be construed to place the parties in the relationship of partners or joint venturers and it is agreed and understood that you are not an agent or employee of Vitro. Neither party shall have the right to obligate or bind the other in any manner whatsoever. If this letter is drafted in a language in addition to English, the English language version is controlling.

Once we receive your request, it will be processed as quickly as possible. Requested logos and a pdf of the related logo usage guidelines will be sent to you via email by PUSH 7, the approved marketing and public relations agency for Vitro Architectural Glass.
