Vitro Architectural Glass Launches GlassScope™ Mobile App
New app will transform how architects and glaziers interact with Vitro product portfolio
PITTSBURGH, May 29, 2025 – Vitro Architectural Glass has launched GlassScope™, an innovative mobile application designed to transform the way architects and glaziers interact with the Vitro product portfolio. Now available for download on the App Store, the GlassScope™ app marks another step forward in Vitro’s commitment to providing advanced digital tools for industry professionals.
The GlassScope™ app offers two core features tailored to enhance the design and specification process:
- Project Locator: A dynamic map that allows users to explore global architectural projects showcasing Vitro glass products. Professionals can identify buildings featuring specific glass solutions and access detailed project information with just a few taps.
- Color Reader: A tool that helps users identify and match glass colors. By scanning a window with a smartphone camera, the app provides a Solarban® glass product recommendation that is the closest match to the color.
“The GlassScope™ app sets a new benchmark for digital innovation in architectural glass,” said Fernando Diez, Vice President of Marketing, Vitro Architectural Glass. “By combining a global project exploration tool with an intuitive color-matching feature, we’re empowering architects and glaziers to connect with our products in a more interactive and meaningful way.”
The intuitive interface of GlassScope™ ensures that professionals can easily access key information, whether they're exploring buildings for design inspiration or selecting materials for their next project. While the Color Reader feature simplifies identifying product matches, users are reminded that the tool provides approximate color references and is not intended to replace formal specification processes.
