Vitro Architectural Glass Commemorates Additional Solarban® Glass Milestones

PITTSBURGH, November 20, 2025 – Vitro Architectural Glass, the largest glass manufacturer in North America and industry leader in sustainability, is commemorating the 2025 milestones of additional members of its Solarban® solar control low-e glass portfolio. In addition to Solarban® 60 glass celebrating 25 years, Vitro proudly recognizes 20 years of Solarban® 70 glass and 10 years of Solarban® 90 glass.

The introduction of Solarban® 70 glass represented a pivotal advancement in architectural glazing technology. This product was the first to successfully integrate a third silver layer into its coating, thereby elevating glass performance to a previously unachievable standard within the industry. Two decades later, Solarban® 70 glass remains the most proven, commonly specified triple-silver-coated low-e glass on the market.
